I spy some Cisco APs in a bus stop (click images to blow them up)! Interesting to see APs are being shoved anywhere nowadays! Earlier this year I saw Ethernet cables run in subway stops for the “Help” when there is no MTA employee kiosks (aka: fish tanks) at a station.

Also, this article is interesting as well, APs are now going to be placed in old PSTN telephone booths around the city to give us NYers Wifi access whereever. It’ll be interesting to see how much it can scale!

I appreciate everyones patience BTW, with my new role at Arista I’ve been learning ALOT of new stuff so hold on the blog articles will return! :) In the meantime I have been still active with my meetups via the NYC Networkers meetup group over at www.meetup.com/nycnetworkers
